MEET THE TEAM

Chuck, Denise, and Walker

Chuck, Denise, and Walker

Chuck and Denise are the owners of Hall’s and couldn’t be more proud to be part of the team! They acquired the company in 2022–within two weeks of welcoming their first child, a son named Walker. The redhead often serves as a source of laughs for the team each morning and attends company events as a mascot of sorts.

Chuck has spent his entire life around truck yards and garages. After serving more than a decade as a Maryland State Trooper, he became the owner of Mylin’s Pool Water (formerly Best Pool Water under the ownership of Chuck’s grandfather, Donald Ewing, Sr.). Chuck can operate and fix just about any kind of machinery there is, including trucks, motorcycles, and airplanes. He even has his private pilot’s license. Chuck doesn’t sit still. If he isn’t behind the wheel of a pool water truck, he’s providing septic service and inspections, cleaning honey pots, or getting covered in grease in the garage. He’s a proud member of the Rotary Club of Aberdeen and enjoys getting involved in community projects.

Denise’s background is in communication. She spent her first 10 years in the workforce as a television news producer and reporter in Baltimore and York, then moved to work for a defense tech company on Aberdeen Proving Ground, serving as a communications specialist and single-handedly designing, implementing, and managing the first formal recognition program for a company of 17,000 employees. These days, she bounces between the Hall’s Septic Services office and the Mylin’s Pool Water office, helping with any and all backend business tasks. Most days, Walker is with her, too. A glutton for punishment, Denise is also finishing up her master’s degree in strategic communications at the University of Delaware.

The couple met at Perryville High School and have been together since, enjoying the occasional cruise or beach day on the rare occasion they take some time off. They look forward to the small spurts of quiet time at home with their German Shepherd, Athena, and rooting for the Orioles and Ravens.

bob

Bob

Bob is one of the longest-tenured employees on the Hall’s team. With more than 12 years on the job as of 2023, he’s the man who we all look to for answers. Bob grew up in Harford County, attending school in Darlington and Bel Air. He is a parent, grandparent, and furparent, and is actively involved in his church, often playing guitar or bass for church events.

He enjoys listening to music, too, and riding his motorcycle in his spare time. Bob considers himself a tinkerer, spending free time in the garage or the garden. Friends describe Bob as “a great guy,” and we couldn’t agree more.

Chris

Chris

Chris is a well-known figure in the Harford County area. He grew up in Havre de Grace, and while he’s new to the Hall’s team, he’s not new to the industry. Chris is the Shop Manager. He can fix just about anything that’s broken, including things that require welding or fabrication. An honest, hardworking, and funny guy, Chris works with Habitat for Humanity and donates bicycles every Christmas.

He’s also a passionate motorcycle racer on the Dirt Track circuit, a passion he shares with his teenage son. Chris is the D-7 Dirt Track Chairman and works to promote many races throughout the year. He hopes to visit France one day and wouldn’t mind if leather jackets made a comeback.

Jeane

Jeane

Jeane is one of the lovely voices you’ll hear on the other end of the phone line when you call the Hall’s office. She’s been the office manager since April of 2015. Friends describe Jeane as loyal and protective – and she throws the word “crazy” in there sometimes, too.

A native of Harford County and graduate of Bel Air High School, she is a loving mama to four kids and Grammie to two granddaughters–plus adopted Grammie to the owners’ son…and office mama. In her spare time, Jeane loves to dive into a good book and snuggle with her pup Ryder. Top of her travel destination list: South Carolina – where her grandbabies live.

Stephanie

Stephanie

Stephanie is new to the Hall’s team as of the spring of 2023. She helps run the Hall’s office, greeting many customers on the phone, scheduling, and billing. The self-proclaimed “pots chick,” Stephanie focuses on the Honey Pots side of the business, keeping track of hundreds of pots and driver routes. She’s a local, graduating from Edgewood High School and spending many years in Perry Hall.

She’s the mother of three beautiful children. Ever the adventurous type, Stephanie loves everything outdoors, especially fishing and tubing. If she could visit anywhere in the world, she’d book a flight to Bora Bora.

Steve

Steve

Steve is our most popular employee. A Pennsylvania native, Steve has been with Hall’s for 13 years as of 2023. Often requested by name by clients for septic system cleanings, Steve is a jack of all trades – he is a licensed septic system inspector and services our Honey Pots.

Steve is a workaholic, but spends his free time going to theme parks and beaches with his daughter. Hawaii is the top destination on his vacation wish list.
